What is the position

A successful candidate will be a team player who can take responsibility for building, delivering, testing and deploying new core projects through to production. You will take ownership of new features such as

Streamlining our internal tools for finance, reservation and client management
Developing new strategies to improve testing and monitoring
Driving forward our Business Intelligence and reporting systems
Developing new strategies to improve search response time performance
Refining our backoffice systems which service and manage hotel reservations
Our environment

We don?t hire based on experience with a handful of tools. Instead, we want smart, capable, and experienced people who can learn our tools quickly (and suggest new ones!). Prior experience with our stack or similar is however is a bonus. Here?s what we use:

Microsoft technology on server side frontend and middle tiers (.NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server).

JSON based public and internal APIs.

Queue based processes for cache reloading and long running tasks.

Git source control.

SeleniumJS testing framework.

Continuous Integration with integrated testing allowing us to deploy to live, with confidence, multiple times a day.

Although most of our core logic is written in C#, in Roomex we use the right tool for the job when it makes sense.
