Developer Script Writer Specialist

Location: Krakow
In this role, you will work within an integrated team of top programmers and analysts creating scripts and coding ad hoc projects that will assist in the research that goes into the optimization of proprietary trading systems.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of Ruby or Java
- Experience in database management and programming (SQL)
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Ability to work in both Linux and Windows environment
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Experience in the following will be considered a plus:
- Ruby on Rails, R programming and Excel
- Distributed, parallel and/or real-time systems
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with end-users to design and write software that will assist in the optimization of algorithms
