We are a growing Canadian website development company who is looking for an awesome PHP developer in Polska, who wishes to work for us remotely on a long-term basis.
Key qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of PHP, especially OOP.
Prior experience with using an MVC based framework (such as Symfony, CakePHP, etc).
We are looking for excellent written English skills and understanding. You will have to be able to read and understand customer specifications and regularly communicate with several other members of our team. You will be interviewed over Skype.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent programming abilities. We’re looking for someone that believes in writing good code and thinks about long-term consequences of software design decisions. We support our clients for years, good code matters.
You must be an individual person. We do NOT wish to work with an outsourcing company.
You will work on a variety of website development projects ranging from simple websites to complex ecommerce sites to custom web solutions. We have a lot of clients so there is always something interesting to do! Once you have some experience working for us, you will also participate in development on the open source MVC-based framework that we created.
This is a full-time position. We are offering starting pay of $2,100CAD per month (at current exchange rates this is about 6,300 zloty). Dolar kanadyjski ma kurs wymiany powyzej 3zl (ok 3.1.-3.3).

Due to 6 hour time zone difference and team communication being important, you should be someone who is willing to start work later in the day and end in the evening (for example 1100 to 1900 Polish time). This is a perfect job for a “night owl”
You will of course be working from home so it is important that you have a reasonable internet connection and a place at home to work.
