Otóż chciałem, aby wpisanie w przeglądarce admin.html dawało taki sam wynik jak admin.php. Niby prosta rzecz związana z mod_rewrite.
W katalogu strony utworzyłem plik .htaccess, a w nim, taki oto kod:
