Ominor adopt Agile Methodologies. Our E-Commerce sites are based on a propriety MVC Object-Oriented E-Commerce Framework using Open Source technologies.
Ominor are continually developing and evolving its E-Commerce offering with current developments including Web 2.0 based Community features within an online retail environment.

Job Description
As part of a fast growing Development team you will be working to both deliver client projects and drive the development of our E-Commerce offering in a democratic, open environment that embraces change and strives for distinction every day.
You will be a ‘lifetime learner’ committed to both individual and team excellence with the knowledge that you can improve every day; learning from those around you and from the open source community as a whole.
You should be comfortable coding both on your own and in a pair programming environment. The role will also involve requirements-gathering meetings with the Project Services team which will include clients and team discussions about system design.
Skills required include:
-Object Oriented Programming using PHP5 (preferable) or Java
-Test-driven development
-Agile development
-Strong knowledge of SQL
-Source control (e.g. CVS or Subversion)
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
-Experience of Agile development, XP, or SCRUM
-PostgreSQL administration experience and PL/pgSQL knowledge
-Linux competency
-Understanding of Apache administration
-Experience with more than one object oriented language
Salary: £25k - £45k dependent on experience + Healthcare
