We are a startup company located in Los Angeles, California. The founder and CEO of the company is an American entrepreneur of Polish descent, an MIT graduate, an inventor of a few software patents, and a successful investor. Our company is very well funded.
The assignments are remote (telework). We offer a stable, permanent employment, attractive salary and outstanding professional growth opportunity. Note that these are not a short-term project. We wish to establish a long-term working relationship for many years to come.
We are looking for experienced software engineers passionate about both front- and back-ends of WordPress, PHP, JQuery development. Of course our project should be optimized for mobile screens (responsive). Although we can not reveal details yet, we call our venture a new disruption in «social engineering».
For the right candidates, we possess both legal and financial resources to sponsor and to transfer to the United States the developers who wish to join us here, in the USA (on H1B or L-type visa).
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3+ years development experience in WordPress PHP, JQuery, HTML5; especially custom plugins development, but also themes and extensions. Our infrastructure adds significant amount of new functionality on the top of existing WP plugins (BuddyPress, Gravity Forms, etc.). There is much work to be done. We believe in Open Source. We actively collaborate on GitHub, and therefore you should know Git.
- We believe in the future of open currency. We are now starting to develop a Bitcoin payment gateway. A fascinating and important task you will help us with.
- Fluency in technical English language is expected. Speaking, reading and writing will be required. All the documentation and communications will be in English only.
- Students, with sufficient experience and expertise, will be considered.

- Obviously, the benefit of remote telework gives you the convenience of working from the comfort of your home without a time-wasting daily commute. But you will not be isolated. We do maintain contact through frequent teleconferencing, instant messaging and email. The team will be getting together periodically for company meetings (in Europe or California).
- For the right candidates, we offer very attractive salary. We propose a very broad negotiable range: 3000 - 10000 zl (NET) -- which will depend on your experience, skills, positive attitude and winning personality. The salary will grow as you contribute to the company.
- In addition, we offer equity incentives (stock options) based on predefined vesting rules. This is rather unique, but relatively common in United States! Equity incentives are equivalent to giving you an ownership share in our corporation. These awards, based on the company expected growth, can be quite lucrative.

FINAL NOTES
We are experienced software professionals, and we insist on developing software using best practices. You should know OOP programming, even if it's not always necessary for PHP development. What is expected is well organized, structured, documented code and compliance WP coding standards.
The formality of our employment agreement option remains open. Initially, we would prefer freelancing or independent contracting arrangements. Later we might formalize official, direct position with our company. (This would require additional legal consultations.)
