ArlenMedia is a small outsourcing company located in Wrocław providing PHP programmers to companies in England and Germany.

Our main client, Openads.org, requires an application developer. Their software is used by over 20,000 websites worldwide. You must have relevant experience working on a professional application (non-website) within a group, or you must have experience leading an advanced project with organized goals and time-critical delivery.

Core skills required for this role include:

* 3+ years web application development experience (within a professional
working environment)
* Relevant application development experience
* Actual delivery experience on projects using php and relational
database systems
* Experience with object oriented analysis, fluent in design patterns,
refactoring and unit testing
* Experience with full life-cycle development
* Experience with client-side development, browser scripting technologies, such as dHTML and Javascript, and session management

* Knowledge of relational databases and MySQL
* Knowledge of developing and running under UNIX / Linux preferred
* Knowledge of the media/advertising industry is not essential but would
be a distinct advantage

Key responsibilities include:

* Develop high availability, business critical enterprise-level applications
* Write high quality code, and adhere to existing development practices,
including following coding conventions, using SVN control tools, and use unit testing as part of the development process
* Enhance and extend, where required, existing applications
* Communicating daily with your project leaders in London over Chat, and be able to meet deadline goals.
* Provide technical support to business units as part of the post-implementation process
