Version 1 has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PHP Developer. The position will be part of our project support and development team within Version 1's Managed Services Practice. The ideal candidate will have a good technical background in PHP development in a support environment. Some Oracle or SQL Database environment experience would be good as well as an eagerness to learn other skills.

Essential skills
The ideal person will have a minimum of 2 years of commercial PHP 4 or 5 development experience and experience in the following:

? HTML / JavaScript / CSS
? Oracle or MySQL or SQL Database
? Experience working to coding standards
? IT Related Degree
? Good documentation skills
? Business Requirements gathering experience
? Consultant experience
? IT Support experience
? Working in association with dedicated test team
? Working with a PHP framework

Desirable skills
? .Net or C# experience
? ZCE qualification
? Reporting (Discoverer, Oracle Reports, etc)
? PL/SQL

Personal Competencies
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Client facing experience a distinct advantage
