Mam zamiar otworzyć małą firmę i w związku z tym mam kilka pytań:

1. Czy Apache, php można używac bezpłatnie, bo z tego co wiem, MySql wymaga wykupienia licencji? Przeczytałem wprawdzie licencję do Apacha i php i żadnej klauzuli nie znalazłem, ale może tez źle szukałem :-)

2. Jakie całkowicie freewarowe narzędzia polecacie?

Co do MySQL to sprawa jest nie do końca taka.
Na pewno wersja dla Linuxa używna w celach niekomercyjnych jest darmowa. Natomiast spotkałem się z opinami, iż wersja dla Windowsa jest objęta opłatą, jednak postanowiłem zapytać u źródła. Napisałem maila do działu sprzedaży MySQL z pytaniem o potrzebę wykupienia licencji dla serwera bazy działającego pod Win2000 używanego w jako część serwisu www w mojej firmie -np. jako składnik FoxServ-a. Z bazą MySQL chyba jest tak, że wymagana jest płatna licencja tylko w
przypadku, gdy używasz źródełm MySQL-a w swoich, komercyjnych
programach.

Hmm... trochę to zawilane. Źródeł MySql nie będę używał w moich programach. MySql ma słuzyć do tego, do czego służy większości :-) do przechowywania danych w bazie.

Nie wiem, czy producent rozróżnia dwie sprawy: wykorzystanie MySql jako źródła danych np. do skryptów php i zainstalowanie MySql'a na serwerze.

Zresztą sprawę zbadam jeszcze i dam znać :-)
